Will this membership remove ads from the emails, newsletters, etc. I receive from smoking-meat.com?
Yes. This subscription removes all of the third party ads from the actual website at smoking-meat.com as well as all ads in the newsletter.
Why are you asking me to pay for a membership instead of just receiving the recipes in my email as I used to get?
Unfortunately, email service providers have been cracking down for a while on these long emails with lots of images, like the ones I used to send to customers.
They were hitting the spam filters and just not getting through very well.
I held out as long as I could, but eventually I had to adapt the way I did things.
The ad-free browsing does take some ad money off the table, and the ad networks don't like it; however, I'm willing to tell them to “take a hike”, if you guys are willing to pay a small fee for the privilege.
Besides, being able to browse the ENTIRE SITE free of ads is so much bigger than just getting a single email without ads every week. This is HUGE!
What happens when I click the Join Now” button above?
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, absolutely! I will be setting up an automated way to do this soon, but for now, shoot me an email if you ever need to cancel your membership, and I’ll take care of it for you right away.
Is the membership a subscription or a one-time payment?
This membership is set up as a subscription and as such is recurring until cancelled. If you want to cancel the subscription, simply let me know, and I can take care of that for you right away.
If you choose to cancel, your membership will continue to be active for the rest of your year, or until its expiration date.
What ads am I paying to eliminate?
You know the big video ad and all of those image ads that get inserted in between every few paragraphs on this website? Evaporated! Poof! No more!
You will also not be seeing any more third party ads in the sidebar or that sticky ad in the footer of this website. Joy joy!

These are all ads from all ad networks, including the video ads that take up the top of the page on mobile.
Will there still be links to great products?
Yes, a few. I may link to products within the text if it’s something I think you’ll be interested in, but I’ll do my best to keep that minimal.

No. This website and the forum are two separate websites and do not share any data, subscriptions, usernames, etc.
