The rubs can be placed into a zip top bag and then into an airtight container and stored in the freezer to keep it fresh for months. It does not freeze and will be usable immediately when you remove it from the freezer.
The barbecue sauce is best stored in a closed container in the fridge. An empty ketchup bottle that's been cleaned works great for this purpose. Because of the garlic pieces in the sauce, it is sometimes necessary to cut the hole in the top slightly larger.
The barbecue sauce is generally good for 3-4 months when stored in the fridge in this way although it rarely lasts that long at my house.
